Spanish top-flight football league LaLiga launched its own technology company, LaLiga Tech in 2021. It offers a cloud-hosted ecosystem through which various rights holders are managing their OTT, fan campaigns, antipiracy and match data. On top of the technology LaLiga Tech also offers consultancy on data analysis and fan activation. Minerva Santana joined LaLiga in February 2016, following 10 years of experience in project implementation and process optimization at multinational companies from various industries. She is currently Director of Innovation & Global Development at LaLiga Tech, running a department whose mission is to increase collaboration and innovation initiatives across the sports industry, delivering more value to fans and to rights holders through high-impact technology solutions.
