Incredible, but True

• Radio Drama: The show was presented as a series of short radio dramas. Each episode typically featured a cast, dramatic organ music, and sound effects to create an immersive and suspenseful atmosphere.
• Urban Legends and Unexplained Mysteries: The core of "Incredible, But True" was its focus on urban legends and unexplainable mysteries from around the world and across different time periods. These stories often had a supernatural or mysterious element to them.
• "Supposedly True" Phenomena: While the title suggested the stories were "true," the show often took liberties with the facts, sometimes even altering endings to enhance the dramatic effect. The goal was more about entertaining and thrilling the audience than providing journalistic accuracy.
• Short Episodes: The series was syndicated and aired in two formats: 15-minute and 3-minute episodes. This made them easily digestible and suitable for various programming slots.

Host/Narrator:

• The show was hosted and narrated by Ken Nordine. Nordine later gained significant recognition for his distinctive spoken-word "Word Jazz" series. His unique voice and delivery were integral to the show's mysterious tone.
