YA Romance

If I was to give the book a letter grade, it would be a B. It's above average, but not great. I got caught up in the love life of the main characters and grew to like them, even though they were cliché. Matter of fact several of the characters had the same personality. I was disappointed that almost nothing happened with the aliens. This is a prequel, so I knew they could not invade. They had some survivors in Africa, but they were all killed off with machetes. Young people are going to go to the movie, so it fits that the book would be YA.

Wow! Very cool tie in between the two movies. I think it's a must read before you see the movie. If you liked the fist movie that is. It will make sense and will tie up any lose ends. Very well done, to me anyway.

It should go for an anime work up, that would be cool.

Wildly entertaining

This book is a must listen to any and all Independence day fans. It successfully and wonderfully bridges the gap between the first movie and second and leaves you with just the right amount of questions to make you excited for the sequel. Well done by all

Excellent Performance -- boring story

I have to admit that the performance was refreshing, realistic and enjoyable.... however, nothing happens in this story ... I felt like I was in a chick flick!

Loved it!

As close to a real sequel to the original film as could be hoped for. Have tons of characterization and weight to events in both films
