On the occasion of the 5th World Energy Storage Day, Mr Ghanashyam Prasad, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Power, Government of India shared about the launch of 1000MWh tender for energy storage in October 2021. He mentioned about the steering committee being ready with the draft of guidelines and bid document. He also assured Government’s support for the initial energy storage projects in the country and asked the industry to be ready for responding to the tender.
