Co-ed schools are schools where both males and females are taught in a classroom together. However, the Indian counterpart doesn't always think rationally. Many schools over here still separate them by making sure they both don't interact with each other because if they do that there will be a case of teenage pregnancy and lok kya kahenge syndrome.
