Hello Gatherers! Come hear our new show, IndiComix with Jeff! The goal of this show is to reach out to comic book fans everywhere with the intent of broadening their horizons to the joys that independent labels bring to the industry.

By discussing selected titles throughout the week and reviewing past artists and volumes, it is our fondest hope that listeners will take an alternative approach to the typical DC/Marvel paradigm when going to their local comic shop.

 

In this episode, Jeff showcases selected titles from independent companies for the week, including ones from Boom! Studios, Dark Horse, and Image Comics.  Additionally, a blast from Vertigo’s past is highlighted with an in-depth discussion of the Hellblazer comic book.  Finally, the show wraps up with a spotlight of comic book penciller Terry Dodson and a critical analysis of his style that he brings upon the pages of the books he has worked on in the past and how he continues to inspire the industry.
