Two indie horror features opened this week, and we're talking with the directors of both!

Elle Callahan co-wrote and directed "Head Count", a tense supernatural thriller that pits "teens in the wilderness" against an unwittingly summoned monster with ill intent. Inspired by creepypasta tales, Callahan talks about the monster and the atmosphere she wanted to surround the unlucky kids in.

Next, Steve Stanulis directed "Clinton Road", and he talks about building a hidden hauntings story inspired by real unexplained events reported along a rural New Jersey road (see Weird New Jersey magazine for details, and for more stories like this).
