Indie Horror: “Werewolves Within”

"Werewolves Within" is a new horror-comedy from IFC Films, and both writer Mishna Wolff and director Josh Ruben stop by to talk about adapting from video games, getting the comedic elements just right, and more.

First, Mishna talks about adapting the video game's medieval setting into a more modern comedic horror tale, and stacking the deck against our hero Finn. And maybe creating more adventures featuring Finn.

Next, Josh talks about balancing the feelings of dread with the comedic elements, about juggling equipment failures and night shots to matching up the practical effects and sound effects to lock in the proper levels of creepy and more.

"Werewolves Within" will be in theaters on June 25 and available On Demand and Digital on July 2.
