The Indiependent Collective presents: Another fun IndieCo debate where chosen applicants tackled the question, "Can Men and Women Be Close Platonic Friends?" For the affirmative team, we have Austin and Kriska. Meanwhile, for the negative team, we have Simon.

*AUSTIN CASTILLO is an 18 year old Senior High STEM student. He believes that being close with someone whose gender is opposite yours is normal and that it doesn't necessarily mean that it would lead to a romantic relationship. More so, he is convinced that a true or a very close close friendship shouldn't be defined by gender.*

*SIMON LOMBIBAO is a 3rd year Business Administration and Accountancy student from the University of the Philippines-Diliman. He is a theater artist who loves being involved in arguments as a Pisces.*

*KRISKA PANOMBO is an ENFP/ESFP type of girl who loves a good laugh. She is a dancer-choreographer and a full-time student at the University of Asia and the Pacific. She is more of a creative thinker rather than a strategic thinker and she love doing things spontaneously and  experiencing new activities with her friends.*
