On our recent full length album “The Eye Of The Storm” Simon has contributed with words for 2 songs. “Only They Understand” about being in a band and a relationship at the same time, and also the song “Love & Memories” - which was almost entirely done by Ander, but Simon helped weeding out the clichés.

Today Simon and Anders chat about the two new songs from the current EP “The Punk” that Simon wrote lyrics for! “Song For Paul (He Could Be Happy)” and “Ill Memory”.

The new EP is out on all streaming platforms as of 24th of June 2022.

In this episode we talk about writing songs for the Christmas season. What makes a good, proper Christmas hit? Why do some songs become evergreens? And of course we play a couple of our own songs at the end! Merry Christmas everyone!

In this episode Anders & Simon char about the very first song they ever wrote together - called “Red Alert”. At the end you will hear an early demo, with a female lead vocal, and then the final one as released by Indiego North in 2019.

Today we chat about an old favourite of ours: The song Coming Home. It’s a rather autobiographic song, where Simon and his wife were living far apart, only seeing each other about twice a year. Later then moving on from that.

The whole vibe and feel of the song is very much inspired by the UK band Keane and their sound, which Anders explains more in depth.

In this very first episode we talk about the process of writing our recent single “Living Off The Memories” which has the fabulous Mollie Parker on lead vocals.

We also chat about our influences, which is going to be an ongoing topic here on the show.
