Stan Sakai is known for his series “Usagi Yojimbo” published by Dark Horse!
Synopsis:
Usagi Yojimbo is set in a unique world. Based in 17th century Japan, it features Miyamoto Usagi who is a skilled swordsrabbit, and follows his many exciting adventures traversing this unique world. Yojimbo is the Japanese word for “bodyguard” as Miyamoto Usagi was the personal bodyguard for a Japanese War Lord. Usagi is now a “Ronin” wandering swordsrabbit. Honing his skills, saving villages, and oftentimes stumbling into delicate affairs of national/political significance! It’s quite clear that someone is writing his explosive life story.
It is loosely based on the legendary “Sword Saint” Miyamoto Musashi, who is famous for winning over 60 duels, the first of which was when he was only 13 years old.

Steve Purcell is known as the creator of Sam and Max video games and comics!
Synopsis
Sam & Max is a media franchise focusing on the fictional characters of Sam and Max, the Freelance Police. The characters, who occupy a universe that parodies American popular culture, were created by Steve Purcell in his youth, and later debuted in a 1987 comic book series. The characters have since been the subject of a graphic adventurevideo game developed by LucasArts, a television series produced for Fox in cooperation with Nelvana Limited, and a series of episodic adventure games developed by Telltale Games. In addition, a variety of machinima and a webcomic have been produced for the series.

Bryan Hill is known for ‘IXth Generation’ & ‘Postal’ from Top Cow.
Synopsis for ‘Postal’
The townsfolk of Eden, Wyoming wake up to the first official murder the town has seen in 25 years. Their reaction to this isn’t normal, and there’s a reason for that. Eden operates as a haven for fugitive criminals who remain here while new identities, often including facial reconstruction, are created for them. There is zero tolerance for any illegal activity that might draw attention to the town and an “official murder” is the last thing they want. A single, tight-knit family runs Eden with the youngest oddball son Mark Shiffron overseeing the postal branch, the only means of shipping in or out of the city. THE FBI has repeatedly been foiled trying to insert an undercover here; they see Mark as the weak link to exploit. This murder gives them a new opportunity.

Synopsis for Boxers and Saints
The Boxer Rebellion was fought Chinese soil over 100 years ago. Back then, the Chinese government was incredibly weak. Western powers were able to establish concessions – pieces of land that functioned as colonies – all across China. The poor, hungry, illiterate teenagers living in the Chinese countryside felt embarrassed by their nation’s weakness, so they came up with this ritual that they believed would give them mystical powers. Armed with these powers, they marched across their homeland into the major cities, killing European missionaries, merchants, soldiers, and Chinese Christians.
