When you invest in individual stocks, you take on risks that are not necessary. That is not to say that these risks won't be worth it, but it does mean that the risk associated with individual stock ownership will not suit the needs of every investor. I want you all to understand that it takes work, patience, and emotional maturity to be a successful single stock investor, and not everyone is cut out for it.
