In 1992 Crabrill landed a major record deal, with the once Internationally renowned Polygram/Polydor records worldwide under the direction of legendary music producer Leon F. Sylvers from the famed 70s R&B singing group the Sylvers, which consisted of all Leon’s siblings. Crabrill's group was called “Double Action Theatre” and they manage to chart on billboard magazines hot 100 charts and the group also was able to go platinum overseas in Europe and gained major fans and radio airplay in the United States.

In 1992, Crabrill alongside his group members “Double Action Theatre” were asked by their record label, to help revive the image of the multi platinum-selling artist Milli Vanilli, but the group was not able to recover from the controversy that was surrounding them for not actually singing on their songs and all the efforts and countless hours spent in the studio with Milli Vanilli, they just could not seem to grasp all the vocal training and recording from Crabrill’s group's efforts.
