Segment 1 (0:00- 3:29)- Greg Rakestraw opens the show by previewing what and who is ahead on the show in the next hour. He looks ahead to what 2026 may look like for Indy Eleven once the USL Championship Match wraps up today. He recaps the US Men's National Team International break and the upcoming World Cup Draw.

Segment 2 (6:29-16:04) For this segment of the show, President and CEO of Indy Eleven Greg Stremlaw joins the show to talk about what has been going on in the front office and the business side of Indy Eleven in recent weeks. He talks about acquiring Grand Park in Westfield and the new Grand Park Sports and Entertainment Entity and the new sponsors to go with it.

Segment 3 (19:04-28:55) During this segment, USL Tactics and Brebeuf Jesuit Graduate, John Morrissey joins the show to preview and breakdown todays USL Championship Match, from a tactical standpoint, between FC Tulsa and the Pittsburgh Riverhounds. They also talk about what transactions may occur around the league after the Championship match is complete.

Segment 4 (31:55-47:35 In this segment, Jeff Reuter Soccer Beat writer for Substack, joins the show to talk about the United States Men's National Team after their five-match unbeaten streak as the World Cup draws closer. They discuss the change to the MLS calendar from spring to fall now to fall to spring to match other countries' league schedules.

Segment 5 (50:35-56:36) To close the show today, new Indy Eleven sponsor and title sponsor of Grand Park Droplight President Joe Anderson joins the show to talk about Droplight and why they wanted to sponsor Grand Park in Westfield. They talk about the possibility of a 2026 World Cup team to be headquartered in Westfield and the Indianapolis Colts as well.

Soccer Saturday November 8, 2025 

Segment 1 (0:00- 7:37) - Host Greg Rakestraw previews a unique show as announcements are still waiting to be made on roster moves for the Indy Eleven. With Aodhan Quinn making all-USL second team, he runs through the other selections and also previews the rest of the show with the USL Playoffs coming down the home stretch.   

Segment 2 (10:38-21:36) - In the second segment, Greg talks about the latest rumors in the MLS schedule with the World Cup coming up next summer. How will the playoffs happening later in the fall affect the viewership numbers for the die-hard and casual fans? Furthermore, with the weather getting colder in northern cities, how will it affect those places? Greg then brings it back to the USL and how they can capitalize on open windows to capture an audience.  

Segment 3 (24:37-32:15) - John Morrissey of USL Tactics joins to discuss the USL playoffs and the themes from the last round. Morrissey explains how Rhode Island is built for the playoffs, how the Pittsburgh Riverhounds made the semi-final in exciting fashion and Tulsa going on the road to New Mexico United. 

Segment 4 (35:16-43:55) - Stephen Gorton, head coach of the IPFW Mastodons, joins to talk about his teams run in the Horizon League conference tournament as first time members, the players who have made a huge impact, how he has tried to build his program i the Midwest and looks ahead to his team’s matchup with Cleveland State in the Horizon League conference championship. He talks about what it would mean personally and professionally to finish the job and send his team to the NCAA tournament.  

Segment 5 (46:56-57:13) - To round out the show, Greg ends it with a feel-good story located in central Indiana. Lexi Heer of the U.S. Power Soccer National team joins the show to talk about the opportunities she’s been afforded to play soccer on a national level, representing the U.S. at a world cup, leading the team in goals, how the support of U.S. Soccer has helped Power Soccer.

Segment 1 (0:00- 3:24) - Greg Rakestraw recaps how the USL championship playoffs have fared so far and previews what’s to come in the show 

Segment 2 (6:25-17:14) - The first major stat category winner in the history of the Indy Eleven, Aodhan Quinn joins the show. He had a USL-leading 11 assists and won the Golden Playmaker award. While he of course would've traded it for team success if given the opportunity, there is still a chance for Quinn to reflect on the honors. With the season over, how much rest time is needed? Also, Quinn is contemplating a transition to coaching soon and explains what is upcoming in that process. 

Segment 3 (20:15-36:43) - John Morrissey of USL Tactics joins to discuss the major upset Detroit pulled off against Louisville City FC. With the postseason struggles from Louisville, will there be changes in the near future in terms of coaching or the roster? Plus, Rhode Island is playing well, and Morrissey discusses their ceiling in the postseason. With a bunch of upsets, Morrissey also explains who the favorite is. Greg and John then look ahead to the USL landscape and what the chances are for expansion, the start of the division 1 league in 2028 and more 

Segment 4 (39:44-47:42) - Host Greg Rakestraw recaps the wild week he had called multiple soccer games and traveled long distances for it. It was the state championship for high schools in Indiana, and Greg was on the call for two of them. He also recaps the other state championship games. Later in the week, Greg traveled to Milwaukee for the Horizon League tournament for soccer matches this week and will have to go to Cleveland this week for more matches.  

Segment 5 (50:44-1:00:40) - To round out the show, a recap on international friendlies between the USMNT and other soccer teams around the globe, who is playing for the US in these international matches, as well as a Champion's League update.

Segment 1 (0:00- 2:43)- Greg Rakestraw opens the show by previewing what and who is ahead on the show in the next hour as the Indy Elevens season ended last weekend after the loss out west. He previews the IHSAA Soccer State Finals that take place this weekend.

Segment 2 (5:43-19:46) Indy Eleven Head Coach Sean McAuley joins the show for his weekly segment. He talks about the disappointment of the season ending after losing to Orange County last weekend and the points throughout the season that got away which could have propelled Indy Eleven into the Playoffs. He talks about the changes to the team he would like to see this offseason before the season starts in March. They talk about his relationship with the BYB and the awards that took place this week.

Segment 3 (22:46-32:52) During this segment, USL Tactics and Brebeuf Jesuit Graduate, John Morrissey joins the show to talk about what kept Indy out of the playoffs. They preview the USL Playoffs and who the favorites are to take home the Championship.

Segment 4 (35:52-48:44) In this segment, The Head Coach of the Hamilton Southeastern Royals Girls Soccer Team Greg Davidson joins the show to preview the 3A Girls State Championship match between HSE and Carmel. They discuss the motivation after a disappointing end to the 2024 season and how that has propelled the Royals to a State Championship match. Coach talks about all of his players who have committed to D-1 schools in the next couple of years.

Segment 5 (51:44-56:23) To close the show today, Greg talks about what is ahead in the offseason for the Indy Eleven and when news could break. He also talks about the EFL Cup which is top four leagues of English Football.

Segment 1 (0:00- 2:29)- Greg Rakestraw opens the show by previewing what and who is ahead on the show in the next hour. He does a quick preview of the Regular Season Finale tonight and the playoff scenarios for the Indy Eleven.

Segment 2 (5:29-16:29) Indy Eleven Head Coach Sean McAuley joins the show for his weekly segment. They recap the big win last week against Loudoun last week to keep them alive in the playoff race. They talk about the improvements for Bruno Rendon who scored a couple goals in that match last week. They preview the regular season finale on the West Coast tonight at Orange County and talk about the Detroit-Tampa Bay matchup as they root for a Rowdies win to keep Indy Elevens hopes alive before their match.

Segment 3 (19:29-28:00) During this segment, Aodhan Quinn and Bruno Rendon join the show via the postgame interviews from last weekend after the big win vs Loudoun FC to stay alive in the playoff race. Bruno Rendon had two goals for his 2nd and 3rd of the season and Aodhan Quinn had a couple big assists in that win. Aodhan Quinn is the 2nd player to have 60 career assists in USL history.

Segment 4 (31:00-40:55) In this segment, USL Tactics and Brebeuf Jesuit Graduate, John Morrissey joins the show to talk about the strengths and weaknesses of the teams involved in the two important of the night tonight for the Indy Eleven. They also talk about the Western Conference Playoff Scenarios which includes Indy Eleven’s opponent tonight, Orange County.

Segment 5 (43:55-56:20) To close the show today, former Noblesville Miller and Butler Bulldog, now current Indiana Hoosier Palmer Ault joins the show to talk about his season in Bloomington and how his experience has been going in what will be his only season for the Hoosiers after transferring from Butler. He talks about his 14 goals in 15 matches this season for Indiana and why hes having this level of success in his final College Season.

Segment 1 – Greg Rakestraw opens the show by giving backgroundon where the Indy Eleven stand in the USL playoff race and encourages people toget to the stadium Saturday night for their game against Loudoun FC.

Segment 2 – Head coach of the Eleven Sean McAualey makes hisweekly appearance. He talks about the team’s performance in Pittsburgh lastweek and how important it is to put out a good effort for the fans. Mother naturecould rear its ugly head Saturday night during the match. Coach McAuley discusseshow he approaches those games. Then, Greg breaks down the playoff scenarios inthe USL.

Segment 3 – Greg gets the preview of Saturday night’sopponent by talking to Loudon FC defender Robby Dambrot. He talks about histeam potentially clinching their first ever playoff appearance, some of the keypieces to their roster and motivation playing against a desperate Indy Eleven team.Robby also reflects on his time in Indianapolis as a former player.

Segment 4 – Sirius XM’s Jason Davis joins the show to give UnitedState’s Men’s National Team talk. He recaps the last few games, injuries the squadhas faced and the emergence of Diego Luna. With the world cup coming back tothe US this summer, what does it mean to the sport and the nation.

Segment 5 – Greg wraps up the show by taking a look at theother leagues around the world and where things stand in their seasons, includingthe high school and college soccer seasons.

Segment 1 (0:00- 3:20)- Greg Rakestraw opens the show by previewing what and who is ahead on the show in the next hour. He talks about where the Indy Eleven stands in the playoff race with three matches to go and some breaking news in USL.

Segment 2 (6:20-17:40) Indy Eleven Head Coach Sean McAuley joins the show for his weekly segment. Greg and Sean recap the 2-0 loss to Louisville City last week and look ahead to tonight's match against Pittsburgh. He talks about if the current state of the table changes anything in terms of mindset going into these last few matches. After their conversation, Greg talks about where the USL Table stands heading into the final few weeks and what Indy Eleven needs to do for playoff positioning.

Segment 3 (20:40-33:12) During this segment, former Indy Eleven goalie and current Goal Keeping Coach of the Pittsburgh Riverhounds Jon Busch joins the show and talks about their head coach Bob Lilley and how demanding he when you are working alongside him. They talk about how they are feeling about their season to this point with the big match with Indy Eleven looming tonight.

Segment 4 (36:12-49:36) In this segment, the Head Coach of the UINDY Mens Soccer Team Gabe Hall joins the show from the UINDY Coaches Show to talk about the Greyhounds incredible start to the season at 7-1-2 and a busy weekend last weekend with two matches in 48 hours. He talks about having 50 guys in the UINDY Soccer Program which includes a reserve team as well. They talk about what the Tournament and postseason looks like for UINDY as well.

Segment 5 (52:36-56:42) To close the show today, Greg talks about the breaking news that Bob Lilley will not coach tonight for Pittsburgh on Administration Leave by the team. He also talks about what is ahead this next week for the US Mens National Team which includes a match vs Australia and recapping an impressive performance last night against Ecuador despite being a 1-1 draw.

Segment 1 (0:00- 2:33)- Greg Rakestraw opens the show by previewing what and who is ahead on the show in the next hour. He talks about the big win over FC Tulsa last week which was badly needed in the Playoff Race.

Segment 2 (5:33-21:26) Indy Eleven Head Coach Sean McAuley joins the show for his weekly segment. Sean and Greg recap last week's massive win against FC Tulsa to put Indy Eleven back above the Playoff cutoff line. They talk about Defender Brian Schaefer who was on the team of the week in the USL. They also talk about how recovery is going for the injured pieces of Indy Eleven and if they will return this season. They look ahead to tonight's rivalry matchup with Louisville FC in the race for the Playoffs with four matches to go. At the end of the Segment, Greg looks at the Playoff Picture going into the weekend.

Segment 3 (24:26-35:22) During this segment, Indy Eleven Midfielder and lead Goal Scorer Jack Blake and Defender Brian Schaefer join the show via the postgame show interview after the win against FC Tulsa. They were the two goal scorers in the match last week. Jack moves to 2nd in the All-Time Franchise History for goals scored.

Segment 4 (38:22-51:00) In this segment, the Dad of player Aodhan Quinn and University of San Diego Head Coach, Brian Quinn joins the show as the first dad of the player to join the show. He talks about the career that his son has had to this point and what his future goals are. They discuss his childhood around soccer and as the son of a Coach. Brian talks about what brought him to the United States from Ireland a few decades ago and about where all he played in his primarily indoor soccer career. He talks about former Indy Eleven Head Coach Juergen Sommer and a story about him as a teammate.

Segment 5 (54:00-56:55) To close the show today, Greg talks about what is ahead this weekend in the Premier League and looks ahead to the upcoming International Break for the United States Mens National Team.

Segment 1 – It's another edition of Soccer Saturday! Greg Rakestraw recaps the week that was and previews what’s ahead in the show, as well as Oktoberfest taking place at the game Saturday night. 

Segment 2 – The head coach of the Eleven Sean McAuley joins to discuss the adjustments that led to their win earlier this week against Birmingham. They discuss the emergence of defenseman Benjamin Ofeimu and others that have contributed as of late. Then, McAuley previews what he expects from Tulsa FC in their upcoming match. With the playoff race coming down to the wire, will the team be keeping an eye on Rhode Island’s score? To round out the segment, Greg summarizes the playoff standings and schedules. He outlines what the Boys in Blue need to happen to make the playoffs. 

Segment 3 – Joey Zalinski, new to the Indy Eleven, joins the show. He talks about his feelings when he got the call to join the team. He also provides background about his time with St. Louis City and how it can help him adjust to Indianapolis. Then, Zalinski reveals the best jersey swap he’s made. Playing in front of the Brickyard Battalion, exploring Indianapolis and more! 

Segment 4 – Team captain Aodhan Quinn joined USL All-Access last week. Quinn captures the emotions surrounding welcoming his second child into the world while also staying locked in his play. As a veteran, Quinn talks about how he found his routine that works for him in the league. He sees himself as a coach at the professional level down the line and explains how he’s preparing himself for his second career. There is a mix of veterans and young players on the team and Quinn speaks how the dynamic is helpful.  

Segment 5 – Greg encourages everyone to get out to Oktoberfest at the Indy Eleven game Saturday night and previews the huge implications this game has for both teams. Lastly, a Premiere League roundup.  

Segment 1  – Greg Rakestraw opens the show as he quickly hits on the Indy Eleven as they prepare for the Birmingham Legion tomorrow afternoon at home as the season is nearing an end.  

Segment 2 – We welcome in the Head Coach of the Boys in Blue as Sean McAuley talks with Greg Rakestraw about their game last Saturday when they fell to fellow playoff contender Rhode Island on the road 1-0. They then transition to tomorrow afternoon’s game on home turf as they take on a struggling Birmingham Legion team as the Eleven look to make a playoff push with just 6 games to go. After the conversation, Greg Rakestraw takes a look around the USL Championship.  

Segment 3  - During this segment, we hear from new Indy Eleven goalkeeper Luke Pruter who has been with the squad for just less than two weeks and made his first start for the club in the 1-0 loss vs Rhode Island. They talk his journey, what led him to the Eleven, and hit on his first appearance for the team.  

Segment 4 - In this segment, Greg gets to talk with Mike Watts who will have the call of the Indy Eleven vs Birmingham Legion tomorrow afternoon at Carroll Stadium. The match can be watched on CBS Sports Network, where Watts will have the play-by-play.  

Segment 5 – In the final segment of the day, Greg Rakestraw takes a look around world soccer, including the Premier League as well as a Wrexham update and then wraps things up for the day.
