For all the Jews who had light and the covenant, they too had sinned. Eventually, the centuries rift between Jew and Gentile begins when the gospel of Christ is readily accepted by the Gentiles. Paul will go in depth about the Jews, Gentiles, and the gospel later on. He is doing this for a reason. That is clearly the answer to the sin of man. Whether carnal lust, gossip, backbiting, or judging another; all land people in condemnation. This is a good word for today and for today’s America. Especially the political scene and chaos.

Inexcusable is the blank slate to which the Apostle directly challenges those he is writing too. We know Jews had come to Pentecost from Rome.
