We end off the program by talking about using the arts for social activism. It’s a festival called Infesting the City which musters the collaborative strengths of the University of Cape Town’s Institute for the Creative Arts (ICA) with venues, institutes, and organisations across the City of Cape Town to deliver what they say is a partnership that places the Keys to the City in the hands of its artists and redefines the ambition of what a smart city can be.
