Infernal Affairs is an acclaimed Hong Kong crime released in 2002. The Departed is the 2006 American remake directed by Martin Scorsese with A-List stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon, and Jack Nicholson. Both are amazing cinema, but discourse around them becomes an either/or and an endless debate on which is the superior story. JC Vega gives his take on the differences and similarities of both films.
