Infertility is a common issue that affects many couples, and it can be a difficult and emotional experience.
There are 2 types of infertility
Primary: When a woman is unable to conceive or carry a full pregnancy after 1 year of trying
Secondary infertility: This is when a woman is unable to get pregnant again after having at least one successful pregnancy.
-What is infertility,
Infertility is if you are unable to conceive after one year of trying or if you are unable to carry a pregnancy to term.
-Major Causes
It's important to remember that no two situations are exactly the same. However, some common causes of infertility include:
Ovulatory disorders: These are problems with the release of eggs from the ovaries, and they are one of the most common causes of infertility. Ovulatory disorders can be caused by hormonal imbalances, obesity, and other factors.
Tubal damage or blockage: The fallopian tubes are the tubes that connect the ovaries to the uterus, and if they are damaged or blocked, it can be difficult for eggs to reach the uterus. Tubal damage or blockage can be caused by infections, surgery, or other factors.
Uterine or cervical problems: The uterus and cervix are important parts of the reproductive system, and problems with these structures can cause infertility. Uterine abnormalities, such as fibroids or polyps, can interfere with pregnancy, and cervical abnormalities can make it difficult for sperm to reach the egg.
Sperm disorders: Sperm disorders are another common cause of infertility, and they can be caused by a variety of factors, including genetics, infections, and environmental exposures.
Age: As women age, their fertility naturally declines, and this can make it more difficult to get pregnant. Similarly, men's fertility also tends to decline with age, although not as dramatically as women's.
Herbs for fertility
Vitex (chaste berry): This herb is thought to regulate menstrual cycles and improve fertility. It may also help with PMS and menopause symptoms.
Maca: This herb improves fertility, increases libido, and enhances energy.
Red clover: This herb is rich in phytoestrogens, plant compounds that mimic the effects of estrogen in the body. It is thought to improve fertility and regulate menstrual cycles.
Green tea: Green tea contains antioxidants that may improve fertility and increase the chances of getting pregnant.
Siberian ginseng: This herb is thought to improve fertility and increase energy. It may also help with stress and fatigue.
