I infiltrated the Old Trading Post through a gap in the fence, witnessing Mongol cruelty from the rooftops. After winning a standoff at the entrance and ending a suffering guard's life, I cleared the interior and rescued a woman from torture.
I defeated the Mongol leader and the final guard before departing.
After surveying the area from the outside, I found a hole through the fence that I used to squeeze inside. I climbed onto the roof of a building and noticed the Mongols were torturing people.
I had to eliminate one of the Mongols in a standoff to fulfill my objective. I went back outside to look for a target since I could not initiate the duel from the rooftop.
One of the Mongols at the entrance came forward for a standoff. I took him down easily, and it looked like he was trying to tell me something as he fell to the ground.
I noticed that the Mongol did not die instantly from the strike. He was suffering and trying to cling to life, so I moved in to end his suffering.
I went back inside and heard someone screaming for mercy from the interior of a building. I moved through the open window and noticed a Mongol was torturing a lady in the room.
I crouched toward the Mongol quietly and took him down before he could react. I rescued the woman, but she ran out so fast that I lost sight of her while checking the perimeter.
I only had to take down the rest of the Mongols to secure the post. I noticed a Mongol leader and tried a trick to distract him, but it did not work.
I had to face the leader directly in combat. Without giving him a chance to attack back, I kept striking with all my power and slayed him before he knew what happened.
I noticed there was only a single Mongol remaining who was guarding another entrance. I moved up and kicked the big man down quietly from behind to finish the job.
My work on this Mongol territory was done for the day. I was riding out of the place toward my next destination, thinking about the transition of a samurai becoming an assassin.
