This week in the news: Sea of Thieves' latest update has been semi-rolled back as a few of the new features had to be disabled. Overwatch 2 is leaning into what people liked about the original Overwatch. Sony canned the studio responsible for Concord. The "devs" behind The Day Before just scrapped one Kickstarter and announced a new game at the same time. And of course people have leaked details of the Nintendo MMO playtest. Chicken and Grif just returned from vacation but that doesn't mean there's a shortage of gaming sessions to talk about! Lethal Company silliness, Silent Hill combat discussions, & scary school staff all get fun stories! All this and much more on this week's Infinite Respawn Podcast!

This week Bloober Team has announced a new game hot on the heels of their Silent Hill 2 launch. Nintendo is testing out *something* for the Switch in an online capacity, but they don't want their testers to say what. 343 Studios has changed their name to Halo Studios and dropped their Slipstream Engine in favor of Unreal Engine 5 for the next Halo game(s). And a former Playstation exec argues that there's a lack of creativity in the industry. Is he right? And yes, Grif will indeed talk A LOT about Silent Hill, but she'll keep it pretty spoiler free. Chicken's adding his own difficulty modifier to his playthrough. And Baka is back on his GTA V addiction. All this and much more on this week's Infinite Respawn Podcast!

We're back! After an unintentional month hiatus, it's time to get back to it! In the news: Was Bobby Kotick actually right about something? Does it negate all of his absolutely terrible decisions? (Spoiler: it does not. At all.) Unity had a change of heart (after a swift change of CEO). Concord's downfall was being too positive? And Nintendo is finally getting around to suing the creators of Palworld. Will their suit hold up in court? It's been four weeks, has anyone found anything new to play? Grif's all hyped up about Silent Hill 2. Oak is making waves with Valheim mods. Is Deadlock the next new thing? All this and much more on this week's Infinite Respawn Podcast!

This week in the news: Chicken necro'ed a topic from December! Can you resell your digital games? In more recent news... Concord isn't doing well. Yes it JUST released. No you probably haven't heard about it. At least not until now. (As of two days after recording this episode the game was canned by the studio, by the way.) Valve's new game is also a hero shooter and is apparently doing WAY better than Concord even though it was only just confirmed to have existed. New content is on the way for the October full launch of the Starship Troopers game! Randy Pitchford admits being wrong about something (in a roundabout way in which he doesn't actually say he was wrong). All this and much more on this week's Infinite Respawn Podcast!

This week in the news: Baka survived the circus. The Borderlands movie is doing about as well as everyone with a connection to reality assumed it would. Tango Gameworks has a new home after being cut loose by Microsoft. Steam might be getting a better review system. Castlevania is coming to Dead by Daylight. Two games based around John Carpenter's Halloween are on the way (and one about Ash vs Evil Dead!). And good lort, get the popcorn and a comfy blanket, someone let Grif talk about Dragon Age. As for what everyone's been playing: Oak enjoyed Thank Goodness You're Here this week. And everyone's still full tilt into 7 Days to Die. This week in the news: Chicken's faith in another Darksiders game has finally paid off! While it was just a teaser, there was an announcement and he feels SO vindicated. Blizzard is moving some of their King staff over to make AA games based on existing franchises. Big layoffs hit Bungie but the CEO seems to be just fine. And Steam tweaked it's demo settings. On the gaming front: Chicken, Grif, & Baka (who is away at a Circus for this show) are really getting into 7 Days to Die now that it's hit full release. And the group can not get enough of Lethal Company as well! All this and more on this week's Infinite Respawn Podcast!

This week in the news: Microsoft if changing the pricing and packaging of Game Pass. The Halo show is canned after two seasons. Steam is maybe not as big as you think (or does having contract work make a difference). And there's a Bioshock 4 "leaked screenshot" floating around. Is it impressive enough to garner attention? In games: There was no shortage of anger in the group over recent Lethal Company runs. (Don't worry, they love each other, they just argue like they don't!) Oak's excited about the new NCAA football game. And Grif is impressed with DOOM! All this and more on this week's Infinite Respawn Podcast!

This week in the news: SGDQ started and Chicken failed to remind everyone! Exoprimal is nearing extinction. Capcom shares more RE info. Ubisoft is being extra slow on movies and extra fast on AI usage. Also slow on announcing/working on some much requested remakes. Nintendo's not jumping on the AI train so quickly, though. And the new Dragon Age is offering a death-free difficulty which sparks conversation on what constitutes a difficulty curve in a game. As for what everyone has been playing, well it's all over the place! All this and more on this week's Infinite Respawn Podcast!

This week in the news: Nintendo Direct had quite a few titles to discuss. Elden Ring's new DLC is getting some heavy criticisms. And Paradox canceled their upcoming Sims-like then immediately closed the studio. Grif, Baka, & Chicken started up a group run of Baldur's Gate 3. The whole team checked out a new (to them) ghost game. And Grif is baffled by some of the things in Immortals of Aveum. All this and more on this week's Infinite Respawn Podcast!

This week is all about the recent Summer Games Fest and Microsoft Showcase announcements! (PC show was happening right at the tail end of recording so we don't have much on that, sorry.) Will we be blown away by any of the upcoming games? Were there any surprises? Time to find out!
