Chris Walch, founder of Women of Winter, whose mission is to inspire and empower women and girls to get outside, to be courageous and to boldly embrace and pursue their dreams by carving their own paths in the mountains and in life. Born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, Chris still grew up with the mountains in her blood. Her dad hails from Tirol, Austria, where she first learned to ski and started teaching skiing at a small family resort. Since then she’s taught in St. Moritz, Switzerland, Killington and now Big Sky, Montana at the Yellowstone Club.
