Information and Privacy Commissioner Angelene Falk speaks on the Optus breach

The fallout from the extraordinary theft of data from Optus continues. Today Optus put out a statement saying more than 2 million customers have had identification data compromised. The vulnerability of Australians data and people’s right to privacy is going to be one of the biggest issues of our time.
