I firmly believe that by meeting the player where they're at and focusing on helping them learn, instead of focusing on what we can teach them, we are going to go farther and achieve more together. 

By taking the personal mentorship approach, we're really trying to become their sidekick.

We're not coming in as the overbearing, dominant coach, authority figure that's going to tell them what to do and yell at them if they make mistakes and make them run sprints and punish them.

We're not coming in as the drill sergeant, we're coming in as their "guide on the side" rather than the "sage on the stage" to quote Joe Polish.

I like to welcome every player to our Confidence Formula program by writing them a note when they sign up, and just tell them "I look forward to being a part of YOUR journey and working alongside YOU, as YOU pursue the next part of YOUR basketball career."

Where we focus our attention as a team, as a coaching staff, and as a program is that we're here to stand next to you as a player and see the world from your perspective, then show you where you are compared to where you want to go, and layout a path to guide you where before you couldn't see a way forward. 

We help 7th-grade basketball players perform at a high school level BEFORE their freshman tryouts! (94.6% of our players make their HS team - if they start working with us before sophomore year)
