  • In what way were the people in Jericho hiding from God?
  • In what was were the Israelites seeking God?
  • How do you think Rahab’s accommodation was spared when the walls fell? How might this have actually taken place?

Do you agree with Dan – why or why not? What other examples can you think of in the Bible where God has pronounced judgment but then relents because the people repent?
  • Are you a seeker of God or a hider from God? What evidence do you have to back up your answer?
  • Read Joshua 6:21. What questions do you have as you read this verse?
  • Read Joshua 6:26. What do you think this curse was pronounced on Jericho? How was this curse fulfilled (read 1 Kings 16:34)?
