The power plant of the site is still operational after decades, if not millennia, and she discovers a specific hard disk in the computer that runs the facility. Following a heated altercation, the woman returns to her original location. a radio astronomy facility where a group of people in informal, modern attire have been working for a millennium to retrieve the hard drive needed to turn on the telescope. The ridiculousness is satisfying, although not quite plausible. Still, it's stunning. It's obvious if the goal is to establish a completely different timeline in the vein of J.J. Abrams' Star Trek revisionism.
