Giannis Antetokounmpo's right wrist injury (sprained ligament) that prevented him from any real All-Star game action reportedly isn't serious, and the expectation is his absence will be limited. But will there be lingering effects during the playoffs, and who will be tasked most with holding down the fort in his absence? In the meantime, the Bulls have officially shut down Lonzo Ball (knee) for the remainder of this season, making it a lost 2022-23 entirely. It feels like the exciting young point guard's career could be in real jeopardy moving forward. (Or at the very least, there's legit reason to worry.)
