Here’s your Inks Lake Fishing Report for October 15th, 2025.
Water levels have dropped roughly 8 feet below normal, leaving boat ramps closed and shoreline access limited. Anglers are adapting — kayak and bank fishing remain the best options right now.
Bass are holding deeper along rocky points and drop-offs, hitting jigs, shaky heads, and deep-diving crankbaits. Early morning and late evening bites are producing best. Catfish are steady near the dam on cut bait, and bluegill remain active in shallow coves with worms or small jigs.
⚠️ Use caution when navigating shallow areas — rocks and structure are exposed.
📍 Inks Lake State Park – Burnet, TX
