Inner Moonlight is the monthly poetry reading series for the Wild Detectives in Dallas. We make poetry magic on the second Wednesday of every month. We have returned to the Wild Detectives in person, but fret not, podcast fans! We will be releasing recordings of the live show every month for y'all. On 3/9/22, we featured poet Alan Gann!

Alan Gann facilitates after-school programming and writing workshops for under-served youth at Texans Can Academies. Multiple Pushcart and Best-of-the-Net nominee, Alan is the author of 2 volumes of poetry, That’s Entertainment and Adventures of the Clumsy Juggler. He also wrote DaVerse Works, Big Thought’s performance poetry curriculum. His forthcoming chapbook from Assure Press, Better Ways to See, combines two of his passions with ekphrastic and bird watching poems. His nonexistent spare time is spent enjoying the outdoors and trying to photograph some of the cool things he sees there.
