Inner Orbit with Auburn Lily

The ever-wise intuitive astrologer Alexandra Volland is joining us again to school us on the final of four Goddess Asteroids, Juno.

The asteroid Juno rules marriage, commitments, and as the Queen of Heaven, illuminates the Sovereign Ruler within us all.

As the Queen of Heaven, “she tends to the heart of the people, and she tends to the physical needs of the people,” Alexandra says. “At the same time, she holds herself in a way that’s both approachable and a way that’s very clearly boundaried.”

“Understanding our Juno placement really can help us understand the shape, texture, and depth of some of the more shadowy spaces of how we step into and hold power,” Auburn says. “When we look at the Queen or the Ruler archetype, we’re really looking at how we choose to wield power, what we choose to do with sovereignty, what we choose to do with authority. So it tells us how we rule, how we can use our rulership in a compassionate way, and what’s there to alchemize in the shadow.”

Juno asks, what power structure are you inside of, and how can you wield that power for the greatest good?

Where your Juno sits in your chart reveals “how you can cultivate the change you wish to see in the world via climbing that ladder that Juno so readily provides to you to ascend into your personal power that can change the world,” Auburn says.

The ever-wise intuitive astrologer Alexandra Volland is joining us again to school us on the third of four Goddess Asteroids, Ceres.

Ceres highlights that which sustains us, and that which we sustain.

Our most essential, non-negotiable needs that feed us so that we may show up to the table with our innate gifts that nourish the world around us.

“Ceres is the part of each and every one of us that is capable of very, very deeply caring and nurturing something outside of ourselves. It also shows us our most prominent needs; it holds the archetype of the mother; and it can quite literally stand for our mothers and maternal line,” Alexandra says.

“By looking at Ceres in a chart, we can really see what a person has to give and whom they want to give it to, or what purpose they want to give it for,” Alexandra says. “Ceres can show us what we really need and what is non-negotiable for us so that we feel loved and appreciated.”

“Looking at where Ceres is really helps you understand yourself on a deeper level,” Auburn says. “It can frame the resistances that you’ve met with other people, the moments of friction you’ve had when you’re fighting for your needs, holding your boundaries, or maybe even questioning yourself, ‘Why is this so important to me? Why can I just not be okay unless this is fulfilled?’ I think it’s tied to where Ceres is lighting up your chart.”

“If you know that those requirements must be met, then you can orient to life in a way that no longer puts you in those compromising circumstances,” Auburn says.

The ever-wise intuitive astrologer Alexandra Volland is joining us here inside Inner Orbit to school us on the second of four Goddess Asteroids, Pallas.

As an asteroid of wisdom and understanding, Pallas also denotes themes around neurodivergence or highly giftedness.

“Pallas Athena could actually be leveraged in an unmasking journey… In retrospect, I see my Pallas Athena all over [my unmasking journey],” Auburn says. “In creating a life that’s more authentic to you, Pallas Athena has guidance for you there, and healing balms available. What makes you feel more safe in de-armoring a little when the circumstances allow you to?”

“Pallas helps you find your zone of genius that your neurodivergence enhances and that helps to support your neurodivergence,” Alexandra says. “Knowing that you’re different, if you’ve felt different all of your life, [understanding your Pallas placement] is so, so helpful.”

“[Pallas can show you] how to build a life that actually supports your uniqueness and your difference. You can see structures that would support your routine, your connections,” Auburn says.

In this way, Pallas Athena is medicine that brings you back to that zero point of stillness and satisfaction

The ever-wise intuitive astrologer Alexandra Volland is joining us here inside Inner Orbit to school us on the second of four Goddess Asteroids, Pallas.

Pallas represents our strategic wisdom and applied intelligence.

“Pallas in astrology stands for strategic intelligence including the martial strategic intelligence that cuts through to the heart of the problem – and finds a way to solve a matter even if it hurts feelings,” Alexandra says.

“Mercury stands for all types of intelligence, but especially cognitive intelligence. Pallas is really application-focused,” Alexandra says. “Being creative in problem solving, seeing the connections between seemingly disconnected parts of the world, of yourself, of your past, and forging something new from those things. That’s really Pallas’ gift zone.”

The Astrology of September is an embodied renaissance. A soul renewal.

A divine descent back into our inner and under worlds. A cosmic embrace of everything that we are, including our shadow. An invitation into, and enthusiastic return to, the throne of our own fertile darkness.

September closes the eclipse gateway. Intensities start to ease. We come home to ourselves, changed, but true to our authentic nature.

We gain critical insight on the new worlds we’re building with our beliefs, through our communities. We’re shown just how far we’ve come on our healing journey, not just this past eclipse season, or this past year, but since Chiron entered Aries and Uranus entered Taurus back in 2018.

Vesta symbolizes self-regeneration, the hearthfire, sacredness, devotion, and sacrifice.

“Where Vesta lies, there’s this deep, devoted relationship to who we truly are,” Alexandra says. “Even if we completely lose every single point of contact with who we are, [Vesta] is the one thread back to who we are that we can always follow home.”

“Vesta is the most resilient part of you,” she says. “The part that asks you to return to who you truly are and shows you the way there. Everything in your life can go wrong - this is the point of complete self-renewal.”

The astrology of this year so far has blurred not just our vision, but the edges of reality itself.

As our eyes adjust, we find a more-malleable reality. Circumstances bend under our roaming hands; thoughts ripple outwards and create waves that crash into shadows and structures known and unknown to shape our experience.

Dawn is breaking, sharpening our gaze, and bringing a new world into focus.

The Astrology of August asks for our devotion, with the promise of a prayer heard on high.

The Astrology of July is a live wire.

In the final days of June…

Mars entered Gemini (June 28 - August 1)Mercury stationed Retrograde in Cancer (June 29 - July 23)the Moon was Full in Capricorn (June 29 at 19:56 eastern)& Jupiter entered Leo (June 30 - July 26, 2027)

If that sounds like a whirlwind, it’s because it was.

It set the stage for July to be one of the most monumental months of the year.

In addition to the Mercury Rx that carries us through July, two other planets station retrograde this month:

Neptune Retrograde in Aries (July 7 - December 12)Saturn Retrograde in Aries (July 26 - December 10)

Although these retrogrades WILL invite distinct reflection around our journey so far, since Neptune & Saturn entered the fire sign earlier this year, these planets spend about 50% of the year in retrograde every year.

This means we’ve spent 50% of our lives with these planets in retrograde (as opposed to Mercury which equates to about 17%). All this to say - these retrogrades are a little more business-as-usual than a Mercury Retrograde.

The astrology of July is SO radical that these retrogrades do not get their own mention in this month’s episode. So now that that’s out of the way, let’s dive in.

Our Upcoming Events:

✦ Friday, July 3 ✧ A Celestial Affair: Journey to Venus| Register Here

✦ Thursday, July 23 ✧ Destiny Portal: Orienting to the New Nodal Journey
