1.The rain ceases, and a bird’s clear song suddenly announces the difference between Heaven and hell.

2. If you go into solitude with a silent tongue, the silence of mute beings will share with you their rest. But if you go into solitude with a silent heart, the silence of creation will speak louder than the tongues of men or angels. 

3. Silence is the strength of our interior life. If we fill our lives with silence, then we live in hope.
