The e-hailing sector in South Africa is not one that hasn’t been in the news in previous times for various reasons ranging from customer safety, driver partner dissatisfaction with the business relationship. Although the benefits of the e-hailing services have been many, particularly to the customer, they have not been on an even keel with those benefits that are supposed to be due to the employees or independent contractors who drive the cars. A South African business says it aims to provide solutions that both drivers and their clients face with a subscription-based model for the drivers.
