Ruquanda Epps-Primas, Ed.S. is a certified English Language Arts teacher in the Atlanta Public School System. Primas has spent the past 26 years of her educational career in public education, serving as an elementary and middle school teacher, K–12 Reading Specialist, 21st Century instructor, School Governance Team member, and is certified to teach in Texas, California, and Georgia. Primas has been a member of the leadership team at B.E.S.T. Academy Middle School and the 2014-2015 Cluster Team. Today, Mrs. Epps-Primas is actively engaged in the School Leadership Team, a PBIS Cohort Member, Atlanta Public School District SEL Liason (on-site), STEM Committee, Resident Advisor for Relay, Morehouse Vendor, and 8th Grade English Language Arts teacher at B.E.S.T. Academy (6-12). She has conducted numerous staff development sessions on school improvement, wellness, mentoring, and differentiated instruction in the past.
