I need to be hidden- I need help!This is the Priest! This is the guy who is in a position to help him- a guy who can protect himBut no- for whatever reason- David chooses to lie to protect himself. Leviticus 19:11 ‘You shall not steal, nor deal falsely, nor lie to one another.Henry- David had great faith and courage, yet both failed him; he fell thus foully through fear and cowardice, and owing to the weakness of his faith.

eats the consecrated breadOnly Levites were allowed to eat this bread. Proverbs 20:17 Bread gained by deceit

is sweet to a man, But afterward his mouth will be filled with gravel.12 loves, 12 tribes, fresh every week, eaten by the

priests only. Showed Israel dependence Exodus 25:30 And you shall set the showbread on the

table before Me always. Leviticus 24:8–9 Makes it clear- Only the priests are

allowed to eat it (feasting- JC Bread of Life)God showed him mercy in this instance- but he wasn’t

unholy. Don’t trust in your own strength. Don’t go to the enemy. Don’t be a
