Ever since his cousin Blade got married, Reese has become Houston's most eligible bachelor - and a magnet for gold diggers. Reese turns to his temporary roommate for dating advice, and suddenly sees Kenna for the beautiful, voluptuous woman she is. Though Kenna's afraid to give her heart to the man who could so easily break it, when her life is in jeopardy, she'll discover just how far a Madaris man will go when love is at stake

I like Pete, he did a good job. Reading the story. I like the part where they was dance together in front of his parents. And the family. Want to know where they was looking. Inseparable
I love the book . It made me feel like I was there. I can't wait for the movies.
stilted dialogue
I love Beverley Jenkins and her stories. My first AA romance was Clayton and Syneda's story when I was in high school and I've been hooked, but this narrator leaves much to be desired. His reading is smooth but when it comes to the characters dialogue, his speech becomes stilted, (think William Shatner parodies) and sometimes uncomfortable to listen too. It's not the first time I've noticed it, but I was hoping it was a weird quirk in the last novel I listened too but he did it again. I will be avoiding this narrator from now on if I can help it.
A Mystery and A Love Story
I really enjoyed this one. It heightened my curiosity. I rooted for the heroine and hero but knew the obvious was coming...Enjoyed listening to the narration.
