Someone who has been central to that shift is James von Moltke, our outgoing President and former Chief Financial Officer. Alongside CEO Christian Sewing, James helped launch the bank’s turnaround in 2019, steering it from underperformance and waning investor confidence to record results and ambitions to become European champion.
