207. Inside E-Sports with Dignitas 2x Champions

Dive into the world of E-Sports in this exclusive inside look at Dignitas, one of the most decorated Women's esports teams in history. They play Counter-Strike Global Offensive, the team's competitive game. As the only back-to-back Intel Challenge World Champions, Dignitas is a mark of excellence for women in esports. The core roster of EMUHLEET, rain and artStar have competed together since 2015, alongside coach Xp3.

EMUHLEET, aka Emmalee Garrido joined the show. She is the team captain and founder of the women's Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team, Dignitas. She is a frequent panelist at various industry conferences, a mentor at youth esports camps and aspires to one day combine her love for gaming with her passion for nursing. Emmalee is a partnered Twitch streamer, and a full-time nurse.

artStar, a founding member of the all Women's CS:GO team, is also on the show. She is one of the most popular competitive female esports athletes in the world. artStar has competed in tournaments across the globe including Denmark, Portugal, France, China and Poland. Outside of competing, artStar is a popular partnered Twitch streamer. She and her team were featured in several documentaries including Morgan Spurlock's Inside Man on CNN, Tom Brady and Michael Strahan's Religion of Sports, Sports Illustrated, Player's Tribune, the Wall Street Journal, among other outlets.

They both discuss their partnership with HBSE, the group that is also the owner of the NBA's Philadelphia 76ers and New Jersey Devils. They discuss being role models in the field, and the growing E-Sports landscape, and how they embrace their newfound popularity, and use it to both help grow the following, and connect with fans.
