Carol Jazzar is a Miami-based artist who helped shape the city’s art scene as a curator, turning the two-car garage of her home in the quiet neighborhood of El Portal into a thriving exhibition space in 2007. 

A deeply personal, challenging event led Carol to shift her focus from the more public, established life of her art circles to her inner life and to reclaim her home as a personal sanctuary and studio, developing her own body of work which employs collage, writing, psychoanalysis and astrology.
