Our guest, Dr. Tetsuji Okazaki, is Professor of the Faculty of Economics, Meiji Gakuin University and Emeritus Professor of the University of Tokyo. He served as President of the International Economic History Association (IEHA) from 2015 to 2018, and is now President of Socio-Economic History Society, Japan. He has published extensively in major journals in economic history and economics, including Journal of Economic History, Economic History Review, and American Economic Review.
