Known at times as the “Velvet Hammer” for her uncompromising approach, Mo Anderson’s business skills and leadership are uniquely matched by her faith and compassion. She is the heart of Keller Williams, and her personal integrity and unending drive are touchstones that have made KW one of the most successful franchises in real estate history.
Mo got into real estate when her husband Richard suggested a career change after 14 years as a music teacher. It didn’t take long for her talents as a businesswoman to take hold. She established her first real estate office – a Century 21 franchise – in Edmond, Okla., in 1975. Soon after, it was the No. 3 producing office out of 7,500 Century 21 locations in North America. She also served on the Oklahoma Real Estate Commission, including two terms as chairman. In 1986, Mo sold the company to Merrill Lynch Realty, where she served as a district vice president until December 1989. She came on as Keller Williams’ co-owner and CEO in 1995.
Since that time, Mo’s mission has been to help people experience the higher purpose of business – caring, sharing and giving. Led by this mantra, Mo has single-handedly cultivated KW’s value system and culture. Funny enough, in her current role, Mo’s come full circle and is back in the classroom teaching KW training events nationwide.
While she’s been named one of real estate’s 25 Most Influential Thought Leaders by REALTOR® Magazine and is an inducted member of the prestigious Hall of Leaders by the Council of Real Estate Brokerage Managers, Mo’s pride remains in creating a company that is a light in a dark business world. A member of the Oklahoma Hall of Fame (class of 2018), Mo is the author of A Joy-Filled Life: Lessons from a Tenant Farmer’s Daughter Who Became a CEO, and she launched MoAnderson.com, an online mentoring community.
When she’s not in the running for the Mother Teresa of business, you can find Mo supporting her grandkids at the ballpark or catching up with high school and college pals with her husband. She may also be giving back to the community through one of her many charities. Mo splits her time between Austin and Oklahoma City.

He brings more than 20 years of experience in real estate to his current role, previously serving as an operating principal, team leader, KW Mega Achievement Productivity Systems (MAPS) leadership coach and a founding board member of the nonprofit KW Kids Can.
Jason is a mega-agent business owner who has sold real estate across three continents. His companies have been recognized as top-producing real estate teams by REAL Trends and have been nominated for an Inman Innovator of the Year Award. On beginning his new role at Keller Williams, Jason says, “I’m looking forward to working closely with Matt and Marc as we continue to build the best entrepreneurial experience for our associates. Now more than ever, consumers are looking to real estate agents to deliver the most robust experience before, during, and after the transaction, and Keller Williams agents will now go deeper into those experiences — more than ever imagined in our industry.”
Marc King built his career through an unquenchable thirst for learning and an unmatched dedication to helping his agents build their careers. Growing up in poverty fueled a passion for real estate investing, where he saw the boundless opportunity to better his family’s circumstances. His love for the people he served propelled him to become #1 in his region and #67 in the United States for closed units, totaling 245 sales for the year of 2008.
As he turned his focus to leadership and management, Marc deepened his passion for teaching and helping others, becoming a team leader for a Missouri-based Keller Williams franchise in 2003. Inspired by the visionary leadership of Gary Keller, he became a top 100 agent in the industry in 2008, led KW Mega Achievement Productivity Systems (MAPS) leadership coaches in 2013, and eventually earned a place in the Keller Williams Team Leader Hall of Fame in 2017.
Throughout his life, Marc has naturally taken on the role of leader. From captaining his various high school and collegiate sports teams, to his previous role as director of growth at KWRI, he considers each experience a valuable opportunity for learning and growth. Though he graduated summa cum laude from Park University in Kansas City, Missouri, he considers his most impactful education to be the time he has spent at Keller Williams, where he has attended and taught hundreds of training seminars, events, and classes. It is Gary Keller’s principles of Mission, Vision, Values, Beliefs, and Perspective (MVVBP) that have truly shaped his servant-leader philosophy and continue to inspire him every day.
Marc’s profound love for his craft and the teams he serves has guided him throughout his career. He comes to his position as president of KWRI with a clear vision of his role within the company: “To serve and protect the real estate agent, lead happy and thriving regional teams, and grow market share for stakeholders.” Marc lives in Austin with his wife Kristen and two teenage children, Chase and Mia. His spare time is spent learning even more about wealth building, playing golf, and spending time with friends and family by the lake.
