The film follows Riley as a teenager, where her emotions, including some fun new ones, navigate the complexities of growing up, relationships, and finding her identity in an ever-changing world.

Inside Out 2 features the voice talents of Amy Poehler (Parks and Recreation, Mean Girls, Baby Mama) as Joy, Maya Hawke (Stranger Things, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood) as Anxiety, Phyllis Smith (The Office, Bad Teacher, The OA) as Sadness and Ayo Edebiri (The Bear, Abbott Elementary, Bottoms) as Envy.
