Katrina has received her Master’s of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She has over 11 years of clinical experience, working in a variety of settings including private practice, school-based treatment, a nursing and rehabilitation facility, a residential treatment facility for adolescent girls and providing in-home family therapy for families involved in the child welfare system.
Katrina’s mission is to aid and assist the healing process one relationship at a time. Katrina specializes in survivor-centered treatment and values the importance of healing in order to strengthen individual and family connections. Katrina is most passionate about working with survivors of trauma, as well as individuals and families struggling to manage the symptoms of borderline personality disorder. Obtaining healthy and effective coping skills can mean reclaiming your joy and sense of balance in your life.
Katrina and her husband started ROSE(Reach Out 2 Someone Else)an organization to join the fight against the common pattern of managing mental health issues alone and suffering in silence
ROSE, Inc has established a network of therapists who are willing to donate up to 6 sessions of emotional support to community members to assist in grieving and overcoming trauma.
