In episode three we discuss, when Bill decided to retire from the NHL,  he called Ray Shero who at the time was the GM of the Pittsburgh Penguins. He asked him what he thought of going into the management side of hockey. Bill became a player development coach with the Pittsburgh Penguins. He learned how the other side of the team works. Was an eye opening experience for him in the management roll. 

Bill also breaks down how a trade works in the NHL and what he learned from Lou Lameriello about the GM side of the business and how hockey is more of a business than a sport.
