The Long Road Home portrays "Black Sunday" when the First Cavalry Division came under surprise attack in Sadr City in 2004. Over 7,000 miles away, their families awaited the news for forty-eight hellish hours-expecting the worst. Jariko takes you inside the boot camp where he prepared the actors to play their roles. He reveals how he taught them to shoot and perform the duties of Soldiers.
