Thank you for joining Inside the Room’s 9th episode with myself, State Representative Brandon McGee where we discuss politics, leadership, and culture.
As we memorialize the 1-year mark of the Coronavirus here in the United States, we opted to address the health disparities disclosed amidst the pandemic. Black people are getting sicker and dying at higher rates than their White counterparts which has contributed to the distrust and skepticism Black and Brown communities have when presented with big pharmaceutical industries recommendations pertaining to our health. In this week’s episode we examined these disproportionate effects of COVID Vaccine within the Black and Brown community, alongside special guest and Trinity Health of New England’s President & CEO, Dr. Reginald Eadie.
Join me in gathering people from all walks of life, to step Inside the Room in efforts to gain perspective on how we can educate and uplift our communities.
