David Blacker is Professor of Philosophy of Education and Legal Studies at the University of Delaware. He is the author of the Falling Rate of Learning, a book that came out from Zero Books in 2013. He is also a returning guest, not to this podcast but to Lain's podcasting efforts generally.
This episode features the second half of a conversation not yet aired on the Zero Squared podcast, a conversation about the educational needs of useless people which is the title of a book Blacker is currently writing for Zero Books.
In this conversation we discuss what happened to the spirit of Occupy, possible movements that are outside the left that might inform the left, and how middle-aged Generation Xers should lead the revolution. Millennials should listen and believe.
