Insighted: Rethinking Productivity for High School Students episodes

  • Episode 13 - Updates and Hypocrisy Intermixed with Advice

Hello, all. I'm back! As someone with a productivity podcast, I'm pretty hypocritical for neglecting my podcast for this long. Sorry about that. I figured that for my last semester of high school, I'd try to upload more consistently. Come along with me for the ride!

  • Episode 12 - DON'T Waste Your Summer!

Sites like Tik Tok, YouTube, and R*ddit often provide a monolith for the "right way" to spend Summer. But are expensive precollege programs and fancy research papers really worth your time? In this episode, I give my two cents on how to maximize Summer without sacrificing the "break" aspect of it.

This is the second of many Insighted episodes centered around productivity for high school and college students, with a special emphasis on crafting your own unique system for success. More than anything, I want to host the podcast that I wish I could have listened to when I was at my lowest. I encourage you to stick along for the ride, whether you've been here since the beginning or not. Cheers to a new chapter of Insighted!

  • Episode 11 - Why I Hate the Term “Passion Project”: How To Pursue What Makes You Truly Happy

I first started Insighted to spotlight fellow teenagers and their "passion projects." While I am grateful that everyone I interviewed truly cares about their endeavors, I cannot say the same for everyone with a "passion project." In this episode, I unpack why I HATE the phrase "passion project" and how to instead pursue your interests in a genuine way, similar to the term's original definition.

  • Episode 10 - Insighted's ACTUAL Future

Nine months ago, I released an episode about what I thought the future of Insighted would look like. Obviously, given my lack of podcast-related activity in the past year, that didn't work out. Now, I finally know the direction with which I permanently want to take Insighted.

From now on, Insighted will be all about productivity for high school and college students, with a special emphasis on crafting your own unique system for success. More than anything, I want to host the podcast that I wish I could have listened to when I was at my lowest. I encourage you to stick along for the ride, whether you've been here since the beginning or not. Cheers to a new chapter of Insighted!

  • Episode 9 - Insighted's Future

Long time no see! For this episode, I decided to switch things up and interview myself about why I started Insighted, why I stopped uploading, and why I made the difficult decision to shift Insighted's focus to writing instead of general "passion projects"... but wait! Whether you're planning to major in English or Computer Science, writing is a necessary skill vital to any career path. I implore you to stick around and keep listening every other Tuesday, no matter your future plans.
