Everyone has or will have to face the prospect of mental, physical or emotional burn out at some point in their lives. With the stress of school and pressures of socializing at an awkward age many teens reach a burn out phase early on. In this episode we'll look at some of the signs and symptoms to keep an eye on. We'll talk about some of the common causes of burn out. We will also look at ways to cope with burn out and how to recover from it while also understanding that burn out and stress, while they may be linked are two different and distinct problems to deal with.

You could be close to burnout if:Every day is a bad day.Caring about your work or home life seems like a total waste of energy.You’re exhausted all the time.The majority of your day is spent on tasks you find either mind-numbingly dull or overwhelming.You feel like nothing you do makes a difference or is appreciated.Most days you might feel helpless and overwhelmed
Physical SymptomsFeeling tired and drained most of the time.Frequent headaches and muscle pain.Lowered immunity, frequent illness
