As part of their 25th anniversary celebrations, the Friends of the National Library of Australia invited several of Australia's best writers to speak about why supporting libraries is important and why libraries matter to them personally.
Speakers include writers Don Watson (Death Sentence: The Decay of Public Language; Recollections of a Bleeding Heart: a portrait of Paul Keating PM), Marion Halligan (Lovers' Knots: A Hundred-Year Novel; Goodbye Sweetheart), and poet/rapper/writer Omar Musa (Here Come The Dogs; Parang).
