In today's episode, I will be talking about the central purpose of my podcast and move into giving insights on how to be an encourager.  Everyone can use an encouraging word; however, it needs to be done in the right spirit. The same thing goes for sharing words of correction. Did you know such words can be helpful, if done in a spirit of humility and gentleness?

Today's podcast is a little short, as I had a busy day. Nevertheless, I am not a prisoner of my circumstances. Though I was born with serious disabilities, they are not a prison and they don't get to define me. The same idea applies to you. I hope this podcast is of help to you.

The Bible clearly teaches us, to pray about everything ala Philippians 4:6. Yet, it can be a daunting task; especially if you're not used to it or feel intimidated by the idea of prayer. Yes, I do know the feeling and I've been there. Believe it or not, I started out with just praying for a minute or two.  Yes, the guy you're listening did start out that way.

Let's talk about the issue of "Freedom of Speech" in the context of what's happening. I'd like to share my own unique Christian perspective on this precious freedom. As mentioned in the intro, my name is Barry and I'm the owner of a YouTube channel called Christianity Explained. On the YouTube channel, I cover Christian principles and ideas related to your walk with Christ. I'll keep my topic-oriented videos on that platform. On this platform, I am looking to target issues related to Christianity in America.

Are you struggling to draw nearer to Jesus? Would you like to learn some ideas on drawing closer to God? I'd like to offer some ideas that may be of help to you in your walk with Jesus.  I do know the struggles that comes with walking with God. It's not always easy. I know because I've made my own shares of mistakes. I'd like to share with you what I've learned that may be of blessing to you.

Let's talk about this. In today's podcast, I covered a variety of key points found in the following set of Scriptures. 2 Peter 3:9, Romans 3:23-24, Romans 6:23, Isaiah 64:6 and John 3:14-18. I don't want to spoil things; however, I'll give you a hint. You'll need to listen to the end. If it isn't God then who is it? Listen to the whole podcast. 

Did you know the Church isn't called to hide in a building, somewhere? Would you believe we're to impact the nation, for Christ Jesus? I'm basing this on Matthew 28:19-21. I would like to invite you to listen to my take on what's called the 7 Mountains of American Culture that's popularized by Lance Wallnau. There's one thing that I agree with Lance and it's this. It's time to act and not hide away from what's going on in our society.
