His doctoral research focuses on apathy among Christian students and how the church can help cultivate a passionate and lasting faith.

Gary Smith serves as the Church Planting Director with Alliance New England in the US currently. He is author of the book: From Dying to Dangerous. Jamie is a passionate pastor, leader, and evangelist from County Durham.
